i know this old dude at my VFW, he texts girls all day everyday then at 6pm he waddles his drunk arse home and goes to bed with his wife.
These girls are bartenders, waitresses etc that play his flirty game cause he tips like crazy....
If anyone read his texts it would look terrible, but he aint doing anything more than texting.

Did anyone else read this part of the OP and wonder if this kind of contempt for the father's worth as a mate was shared by both mother and daughter?
There are times when it seems like people are angriest when a person they deem unattractive dares to have an affair. One thing it always makes me wonder is whether that type of peer treatment is what played a significant role in the cheater looking for a boost to their self esteem.

I know you're right. I just had to vent to someone or something, I'm not a regular on this particular board but seemed helpful here.

Considering your parents have made it this long without you or any of your siblings getting a whiff, it is very likely your mother knows about this or is happy in her ignorance. If the latter is the case, if you care for her at all, you will keep it to yourself.

and you fail at reading comprehension, like some of the others. not ONCE have I posted I was going to mom (I even posted I wasn't), all I asked for was advice, you stupid prick.
and I didn't "choose" to get involved. once again, you fail at reading comp. HE looped me in by texting me what was meant for HER!!!! I've simply asked him what he plans to do. All I want to do is protect my mom and son if/when this comes to light. and HE was the one who said he would tell her, not me.

about 2.5 hour drive. don't know if a talk would yield anything because I think he just has a complete disregard for anybody else's feelings but his own. I texted him how much I was hurting and have yet to hear from him.
