I can’t fathom how ignorant and short-sighted the leaders and other influential people in New Orleans are.

“We hate cops!”

“Where are the cops at? We need them!”

Smh.

are they bringing in police from neighboring parishes for the big parades? If they don't have enough for Chewbacchus how the hell are they going to manage Endymion

They do bring in other agencies for Mardi Gras. I think starting the first weekend of Mardi Gras all NOPD officers are working mandatory OT. Chewbaccus wasn't required it was an optional detail.

OK. I kind of thought it was the LSP's job to patrol and police interstates though. I don't doubt they don't want to full around with patrolling I-10 in the East just for having to deal with so many dumbasses.

Only non municipalities. Once you become a city LSP isn’t primary anymore.

Yeah I’ve read several times that Endymion pays for JPSO and others for part of their route.

And there has always been extra law enforcement in the quarter during Mardi Gras.

As long as I can remember, there hasn't been an issue with tourist coming in for jazzfest.

My family and several others have dealt with vehicle break ins at jazz fest dating back to the 90s.

Ok retard that downvoted this, what is the issue?

I don't think the bangers attend Chewbacchus

By this logic, you voted for Joe Biden and shouldn't get to bitch.

(...sort of disingenuous since this person almost certainly did vote for Jason Williams and Teedy).

FYI...Arabella is a good little restaurant, for real.

no, there's a difference. pay attention.

i didn't say everyone in new orleans voted for this and are getting what they deserved. i said the people participating in this parade, they did and are. and i would assume the vast majority voted for it.

Both state and federal support come in for that.

You really didn’t know that?

Of all people, the lead Republican for Edwards maybe shouldn't make this post.

I don’t think bangers attend youth soccer games either but that didn’t matter.

Teedy’s Parade however on the same route on same night was not cut short.

Somehow this has been glossed over in this thread.

I would love to get confirmation on this.
