I just can’t get over the fact that these women got into sexual relationships with Marilyn fricking Manson of all people and are now pretending to be shocked that the “Antichrist Superstar” was into freaky arse BDSM/borderline abusive shite. it really seems like there are major layers to this ERW relationship and it just seems horrible 20 years later

i don't know the details of her allegations (i'm sure they'll come out at some point) but it seems more like he was a rock star and they had a dominant-sub sort or relationship. she was an adult but still young and from her values/view as a 30-something it feels abusive.

i mean objectively it may have even been abusive, but how does the "abuser" understand consent? it gets REALLY grey, really fast

*ETA: i'm clearly not discussing clear-cut rape or abuse scenarios and have no clue if those occurred or not

I was curious after the last discussion about MM when people laughed when I said he was high IQ so I looked it up and multiple sources report he has an IQ of 148. That's MENSA level genius.
