The internet ruined the mystique and offensiveness of these rock stars.

We now know MM, Trent Reznor, and. Maynard are all rational normalish dudes. That doesn’t speak to guilt or innocence but still..no reason to assume the worst. This isn’t 1995.

I haven't ever really thought of that. Very true.

but even Rose and Vita have not shared similar accounts with him.
What has this have to do with anything? Abusers don't necessarily abuse every woman/ spouse he was involved with. OJ Simpson never physically abused every woman he dated. First wife claims no physical abuse.

I got a half chub after reading that. That's a real woman.

Well, when there is no physical evidence of the abuse, there isn't much else?

OJ Simpson

A woman was murdered in this case with physical evidence pointing to OJ. That is nothing like what Manson is facing.

Marilyn Manson's home was swarming with cops after a worried friend called concerned for the singer's well-being... saying they'd been unable to get in touch with him for hours.

Is having his house swarmed with police really necessary for someone who has not answered the phone for hours? That seems like an efficient use of resources

They used the police code for “white woman in trouble”, which is an “all cars” call.

frick that guy. Get off the planet. Make the world a better place.

Let's say these women are making false claims. Do you still think the world is still a better place without him?

I know its easy to look at him and hear a part of some of his songs and think he represents everything evil in the world, but a lot of his music is calling out the hypocrisy in our society. Like his name.. Marilyn Manson. Marilyn Monroe was this beautiful woman who became America's darlin. A sexy symbol who was glorified.

Manson. As in Charles Manson, who was this crazy son of a bitch who built a following in which he was able to convince to do his dirty work for him.. That resulted in killing people which was sort of glorified after he was caught.

He is actually a really good musician whose genre of music falls under "shock rock".. So all the crazy shite you see from him is supposed to "shock".

That makes him a pretty easy target (just like athletes especially football players who are really aggressive.. and have money). I know legally people are innocent until proven guilty, but that isn't the case in the public eye.. But anytime an easy target is accused of sexually abusing someone, especially when they claimed it happened years ago. You can't just automatically assume its true.

He might be guilty. I am not trying to defend him or say there is no way he did this, but anytime someone comes out years later is always suspect. Sure, some people have been embarrassed to say something, but then there is the chance that over the years someone can convince themselves they were a victim of something they were involved in.

They look back and think about that they did and maybe they are embarrassed, it wasn't who they are today so they look for a reason why they might have done those things and come up with away to justify it to themselves.

Well done quote that very few here will get. That movie was criminally underrated.

Over accusations from many years ago, he's dropped by his record label and edited out of a TV series. Blamed once again.

Total BS

If dropping an n bomb gets you black listed from country awards, they aren't going to have many artists to give awards to

If the same held true for rap music, I think Will Smith would be the only nominee even if he hasn’t recorded in years.
