I was tired of shitty hurricane tracking apps/websites, so I made my own. I'm not selling anything, its just a side project. Check it out and let me know what you think. I still have some work to do on Pacific storms.

Alright, that is really cool!
Could I make one suggestion?
The size of the “peaks” over each hurricane, could you make them more in line with the intensity and decrease the crossover between neighboring storms?
It could be confusing with how they touch and overlap.
You also have a Cat 1 and Cat 5 with similar mountain sizes. I think there should be a drastic difference between them.

Thats a good observation. Thats the work i have left to do for Pacific storms. The source data for the Pacific I think only list the current wind in the advisories. Which I'll have to find a way to pull it from there consistently. The current data I use just list HU, TS, TD. Thats why all pacifics will be a tall peak. US storm peaks and color do match current strength.
There's a setting in the gear icon where you can set the mesh to just the current storm strength instead of the full track.

1. The storm closest to Hawaii is a Cat 1 now.
2. It’s going to pass by Hawaii far to the north as a weak tropical storm.
3. The Cat 5 hurricane isn’t going to come close to Hawaii.
Other than that you were right which means you weren’t right about anything.
