I love the people who comment on these lists saying I used to love going there but not any more because someone said they saw a guy without a mask on.

Must be nice not having a job to waste time on this kind of nonsense.

But why expend the energy to go after criminals, possibly dangerous ones, when you can go harass and ticket people sitting at a bar?

We've turned into a nation of childish tattletales who constantly feel the need to tell the teacher about everything they don't like

Hopefully the counter culture this produces will save the country. Kids who are under 6 right now are going to hate these people.

This is the only time in my life I’ve felt BR>NOLA on something. And I’m glad to have lived here during this instead of there.

(Knock on wood) It has been pretty quiet over here, and people seem to be operating with relative ease as far as not being heckled by anyone. I went out to dinner last night and it was completely normal except my waitress had a cloth mask. Normal dinnerware, normal table, etc.

people are murdered in large numbers in NOLA

It's just thug on thug murders, not serious murders and they probably would've died of overdose anyway.

Until we stop allowing people to do this shite anonymously, it will never change. We've eliminated shame from our culture without taking into account the positive effects it has on society.

As long as there is any risk that there may be a risk of risk, LaKaren will not sleep. Too risky.

It’s only bad if you read reddit. In real life I think most here have an understanding approach. I’ve only had two bad encounters - fussed at two different times by two different people while running down St Charles for not maintaining 6ft. I think those people are the outliers. They’re also morons...if you don’t want to encounter someone on your walk, maybe don’t walk down the most popular running/walking area in the city.

I’ve yet to wear a mask in the grocery store and have not been told anything. Not bragging, just stating a fact. I probably should wear one to be honest but

Someone made a comment about not wearing a mask while in public. I just told them not to speak in my direction, it's safer than a mask.

When the police arrived, the bar patrons should have stood and sang "La Marseillaise."

If I was a criminal I would report all those uptown bars for social distancing and then rob a bunch of spots in different parts of town. NOPD have shown their priorities.
