OK, imagine you are a police officer in New Orleans LA. (stop laughing) Just imagine you've got all your protective gear on, your batteries are charged up, and you haven't put on your DGAF face for the day.
Two calls come in: one a vague disturbance...couple of gunshots fired over half an hour ago, mid city/central city area, some bros hanging, yada, yada.
The second call, from a Karen (who probably hasn't lost her right to vote due to felonies, who expects a response) who is reporting a huge crowd at a bar on Magazine.
Which one would you prioritize? Which one would you spend hours investigating thoroughly? Which one would do a follow up phone call and encourage her to call anytime she needs something?

It's pretty obvious which one

Just like anything else, as soon as they opened the door and entertained these complaints, they set themselves up to be overrun by them.

It's not about "public health". It's about society's losers, misfits, dweebs, etc being able to exert power over those they don't like and in the process, obtaining the sense of adulation they so desperately seek but rarely attain from others They're "heroes" in their own minds and in the minds of other like-minded, miserable people

You just described all of Twitter. And most journalists.

The NOLA redit is insufferable with “no one was wearing a mask” there was no distance”. The virtue signaling on there is intense.
Also the flyovers. They still claim we should’ve taken the money spent on the flyovers and allocated it to PPE bc they don’t understand how governmental budgeting works.
Someone actually compiled a list of the most COVID noncompliant businesses based on calls made to 311...Tracey’s wasn’t even in the top 10
Most on there are chicken littles, it’s hard to read.

Avenue Pub got their visit too. And through all of LaToya’s stupid decisions adversely affecting them, Polly and Scott (Courtyard) continue to rattle on about how supportive they are.

Someone who never goes to these bars and never interacts with people who go to these bars is trying to get the bars closed down because their parents sucked and they hate themselves?
This country is lost. It’s beyond repair. And the cracks in the dam are going to explode. I hope we can recover before my kids grow up but I think we’re fricked.

^ That is who is reporting these bars and restaurants. Check reddit or any of your liberal friend’s facebooks - they think COVID is AIDS.

Who is going to be the first to challenge Queen Toya and JBE's possibly unconstitutional overreaching?
