IF it is illegal in the state of Louisiana then yes. IF it's not than no. I don't care if it's legal or not, I care about the constitution. There's a right way to go about changing the laws if you don't like them.

States rights aren't as powerful as they were before.
And you're OK with that?
I'm okay with how the country has been my entire life and for a century plus before then?
This is like a kid born in the 90s being nostalgic for the 1960s.

Has anybody read what the guy got busted for? Pretty sure he had more than just CBD...

Correct. Our elected officials are supposed to be in touch with the pulse of their constituents.
It's not hard to see that CBD oil does no harm to society whether it truly works or not. (it does work for joint pain and anxiety in my experience).

Uhh I am as pro-legalization as it gets, but did anyone actually read the article?
If he was actually selling THC then I'm not surprised that he got busted. Can't have stores openly selling illegal drugs no matter how we feel how idiotic our laws are.
Now if he was just selling CBD products and the sheriff's office is just classifying them as THC/CBD, that's a different story.

Narcotics agents located one handgun, 37,974.1GG (gigagrams) of CBD, less than 1GG of Marijuana, 1,863 capsules containing CBD/THC, 902.2GG of THC/CBD edibles, 155GG of THC/CBD vapes/Shatter, honey containing THC/CBD, mints containing THC/CBD, and dog treats containing THC/CBD.

What’s truly sad is that the officers who did it, actually think they are doing a great job.

Does no one ever proof read this shite before they put it out? I know KATC and KLFY are probably just copy/pasting a press release from LPSD but holy shite what a MASSIVE mistake.
1 gigagram = 1,000,000 kilos = ~2,200,000 pounds
No wonder this guy got arrested, he had nearly 2,000,000 pounds of weed and 2 BILLION POUNDS of THC/CBD edibles and 81 BILLION pounds of CBD. Sounds like a logistical nightmare.
ETA: Lets just assume it's a typo and they meant grams instead of gigagrams, he had ~80lbs of CBD, which I'd imagine to be standard for a store selling the shite, and less than 0.00220462 POUNDS of marijuana, LESS THAN 0.035274 of an OUNCE of bud. Thank you Lafayette Parish for keeping this drug kingpin away from my Gambinos.

The news article was updated to include THC confiscated after the discussion began on this topic.

He actually had 37,000+ gigagrams, so multiply that in there

Louisiana state law doesn’t distribution THC from CBD. If it comes from the MJ plant then it’s THE DEVIL’S LETTUCE!

True CBD is THC free
I mean you are 100% wrong here but keep pushing your narrative.
True CBD is derived from the hemp plant which can contain up to .03% THC (not enough to get you high or even make you fail a drug test) CBD with zero THC has to be further refined and manufactured making it even less safe the the real stuff.

Technically CBD has THC, but screw anyone who tries to use this as a basis for CBD being illegal.
It's like busting you for cocaine because your dollar bill has a trace of it.

the federal government should override states rights is how you get civil war.
the states right issue people are so staunch about it make no sense, its a completely and utterly outdated concept. Those parameters were put in place before modern technology. There were not airplanes, or motor vehicles, or internet etc. etc. It served a purpose at that time because the residents of any state stayed their entire life and very rarely left. They were also effected differently based on the region and what the local economy produced.
Now idiots cling to the idea of it because Californians or weird or something and because it said it in the constitution (A document designed to be amended and changed that no one wants to change for I don't know Murica or something). Ignoring the fact the economy, access to products and industry in general have become at the least across the country the same and to a lesser extent globally
