Bet none of us would do the same what? Be so politically blind and oblivious that we own a business in the heart of oil and gas? An industry that the democrat party has made its mortal enemy? That would be a safe bet, not many people are stupid enough to do what this guy did. This shite is basic common sense, come on man

Never said I agreed with the idiot. Just stated that all the negative posts on yelp and google did nothing to his business.

My statement apparently still stands as he is still in business. I came to eat crow but since this place is still open, my point stands. My point was to all the idiots in this thread who thought their google review mattered. When I thought they were closing I came to eat crow but they aren’t. I then called people like you out for being wrong and me being accurate with my original statement. Then y’all downvote me and tell me I’m wrong without showing me how I’m wrong.

It has nothing to do with politics.

I'm not sure about the rest of the OT but I've enjoyed watching this trainwreck.

A bartender says she was recently fired, apparently she questioned why the owner was forcing her to give up a large chunk of her tips back to the business to keep the place afloat. That sounds a hair illegal.

Yeah I'm sure it's purely organic that the property is now up for lease and it specifically mentions in the ad to not speak to their employees.

This is all good stuff, not at all impacting their business.

So the Trump hating business owner has now adopted socialist policies to keep himself afloat.

Someone needs to point out the irony.

How in the blue hell would you know that? Are you his accountant? Are you his girlfriend, and he is still able to spend elaborately on you? Are you just his confidant? How do you know if his income has stayed level?

Him stealing the bartenders tips and tryna sell dat bidness ought to perk you right up, to the possibility that his fat mouth thinned his wallet.

It’s the communist business approach.

You hate to see it.

It was a very cool concept in a good location but alienating a large amount of customers is bad business. Hopefully someone that is a better business person will scoop it up and keep it going

The property description says it is still open.

Missed that detail. If they were open for lunch before during the week, they are not anymore.

The stance they took likely cuts of 2/3+ of their customer base……

They're still open while they look for someone to lease the space but from what I gather there's hardly anyone there anymore.

I don't think they were ever really open for lunch, they did have to adjust their hours as they have trouble getting anyone to work there. I mean after the first fallout they closed for a whole month while they tried to find new employees.

I mean hell, there's a craft beer festival(Gulf Brew) this weekend in downtown. What does it say that the craft beer festival in downtown wants absolutely nothing to do with the craft beer garden in downtown? Those are a place & event that should 100% be piggybacking off one another and yet there's not a single mention of The Wurst anywhere.
