I was made to feel real uncomfortable by a 60 year old in a Waffle House. She slid in next to me and ran her hand all up in my sausage and eggs. I felt dirtier than normal as I left that restaurant. If she ran for office I would rat her arse out
true story

Women have to take the lead in quashing the double standard. It is perceived as a compliment when the young single surgeon says "How about my tongue up your arse, Cupcake?"
Let Willie the janitor say the same thing.
Also, is the woman who demands to show everyone the new tits harassing anyone? I don't think so.

This was a fellow patron. I was drunk but far and away the most sober out of us two. I was about 22.

Yeah. It's super creepy. Luckily I am in a different position now and don't have to deal with him as often, and his touchiness is more easily avoided.

To me, it makes me feel like, At 30, 9 years in a relationship/married, and 3 kids, I still have it, and thats with wearing jeans, a tee and converses.
One day theses women are going to wonder why no men are showing them any attention.

I've never been sexually assaulted or anything like that. To me, that is defined as being raped or held in a sexual way against my will. Now... have I been inappropriately touched or groped? Sure. But to act as if that scarred me or necessitates claiming #metoo is obnoxious. I think it only serves to belittle those who are true victims of actual sexual assault. Getting my arse grabbed in a bar is NOT the same as being forcibly raped. And to act as such is attention seeking and dishonest.
Workplace? Other than having men flirt with me in various settings... no. I think I'm pretty good at shutting down unwanted flirting and/or advances.

This is the OT after all. There’s a reason it’s 99% dudes.

concur, half of these women want there 15 mins of fame, and yes it does, very much so, water down true victims.
I said it once on here ill say it again, at the point, you better walk out the wood all messed up saying it just happened in order for me to belive you. And im saying that of a victim, in a diffrent since.

OK I'll give some examples.
when I was 16 I was a hostess at a fine dining restaurant for 2 years and then a server for a summer. Every time me or the other girls would approach the dishroom the dishwashers would blow kisses, call us baby and grab their junk. The much older chefs would hit on us regularly. One manager always asked for a hug when he came into work and would hold on for a good 30 seconds. A server with very long fingernails used to scratch all of the girls backs while they were on the computer even though it was made clear they were not interested. I didn't know any better at the time and thought this was just normal stuff since it was my first job even though it made me feel uncomfortable. Looking back, I definitely think this was over the line especially with the age.
There was also a female manager that hit on every guy server, smacked their asses and made sexual jokes regularly. She banged quite a few of them but I know many others did not want the advances. So overall I think it was the culture of the restaurant.
Worked at another restaurant in college and there was lots of flirting and inappropriate jokes, but if you did not respond and participate, it would not continue. I would not call this sexual harassment but rather being hit on by people you are not interested in. Nothing to #metoo about. This does happen constantly in restaurants. I would say that the lesbians and gay guys that worked there were the absolute worst about it though. None of the managers at this establishment did this unless they were hit on first.
Engineering firm in college, no issues whatsoever.
Sales manager for a consulting firm. Out at a sales dinner and the person I was selling to put his hand on my leg under the table. I removed it and we continued the conversation. After dinner he asked me if I would like to get a drink and I declined. He never hit on me again and I still got the sale. I would say it was inappropriate, but not sexual harassment since he stopped and did not imply it had to do anything with business.
Those are just my experiences and how I view the situations.

I can't even count how many times I've had my dick grabbed by a stripper outside of a club on Bourbon St. And while it's a pretty good dick, there was wondering else in my pants that they really wanted.
Pretty solid marketing strategy though. I'm sure it regularly works on drunken tourists.

OP, asking this kind of question is borderline the same as asking your SO how many dicks was inside her before you.
