I mean, there’s a long list of shite that can still be done, which basically means it’s not any different for me than this last week. The gym was already closed, dining out was already canceled, bars are closed. There’s no where that I went to this past week that I can’t do in these next few weeks

We have letters from clients/banks saying we are essential since technically we are working on HUD, FHA, etc properties so yes they are. We are not making them but they can if they choose to.

I bounced out of BR on Friday to come to the beach. Not trying to sit in my house in BR for a month and would much rather have a beach to hang out on when not working

I operate a small business that wasn’t explicitly stated in the “non-essential” category. So in order to keep the business afloat and make sure people have jobs we will be staying open.

But with his mandate employees are calling out concerned about exposure. It’s a shitty double edged sword.

It was kinda nice actually. Didn’t have to get my shoes wet by stepping off into the grass.

I'd hate to have his job right now. I'd have hated to be Louisiana's governor at any time though. Seems like a dead end job..

As long as it's still an option I'm still going to work. I still have bills.

this isn't legally enforceable
In his statement this afternoon JBE admitted it will be impossible to enforce. There will be no checkpoints to enforce the order. He said he's relying on common sense and the goodwill of neighbors looking out for neighbors.

Jon bel literally said going outdoors is fine as long as it isnt congregating. So if you go fishing, yes you are following his orders. This isnt that hard people.

Are people not complying based on principle or just in defiance of JBE?
