Knife attack in London: two Jews targeted

A double stabbing, where two Jewish men were targeted, occurred earlier in London, England. Per reports the two individuals are in critical condition. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has decried the attack, saying “The antisemitic attack in Golders Green is utterly appalling.” Per the Uk’s Metropolitan Police, they are working to identify the nationality and background of the attacker and are “considering all possible motives.”

What we know so far:
• Stabbing attack today in Golders Green, an area with a large Jewish community.
• Suspect described as an Islamic male armed with a kitchen knife.
• Terrorist ran along Golders Green Road targeting Jewish pedestrians.
• 2 Jewish men were stabbed at least one seriously injured.
• One victim was reportedly treated with CPR at the scene. (Reports of collapsed lungs)
• Victim transported via Helicopter to hospital
• Incident taken place near a synagogue.
• Shomrim responders helped detain the suspect before police took him into custody. (Unconfirmed: taken down by ramming into him by car)
• Motive and formal terror classification have not yet been officially confirmed.
