It would be a better show if he opened up a Canes instead.

n an odd twist, a list of potential concessions by North Korea in the CIA analysis included the possibility that Kim Jong Un may consider offering to open a Western hamburger franchise in Pyongyang as a show of goodwill, according to three national security officials.

That photo of him makes a good caricature of a typical despot.

Means he’s tired of eating 4th rate burgers in his workers paradise.

Once you open the door to shake shack communism’s days are numbered.

Little known fact. His father Kim Jong Il invented the hamburger. Though it was called the "double bread with meat" in North Korea.

I could see a McDonald's or Burger King. I wonder how bad it would be to get one running. Electricity isn't exactly a cheap commodity and neither is food. The hurdles are definitely there.

It’ll be like their grocery stores.
No one is allowed to go.
Only for show.

Hey, they opened a McDonald's in Moscow in 1990 and the Soviet Union collapsed the following year. There may be something to this....
