I rarely look at the news station comments and some of the people are still questioning if he’s the one who really shot her and spinning this as racism

But to his point, you throw jefferson gun outlet video in a search engine you find articles from all over. Hell even CNN has a few articles.
In regards to it being national news, you do realize how little national news a lot of shootings receive unless it qualifies as a mass shooting (4+ dead) or a LEO.

The NOLA article I read made it sound like she was just killed in the crossfire resulting from an argument, as if two sides were to blame.

What mitigates pre-meditation? He clearly, thoughtfully, purposefully turns to her, draws on her and fires.
He wasn’t startled. He had no prior relationship with her. It wasn’t a crime of passion. There were no events at the gun shop prior to his firing outside that created a threatening situation.
Obligatory I'm not a lawyer.
But if the qualifiers you've listed above are all that's necessary to make a murder charge pre-meditated, our justice system is going to need to seek Amazon's advice on efficiency of logistics so that we can speed up our execution process.

My point is... If this was a white guy, it would be on literally every news source in the country.
If it was a white guy, we'd know because the local AutoZone would be burned to the ground.

It would be dumb at this point not to expect black people to be conditioned to hate white people.
Which ultimately is going to cause the inverse to occur. And that would be a terrible shame because if not for the media and (largely) Democrat politicians we'd see that we are (or at least were) living in the most diverse and inclusive time period at ANY point in US history. Perfect? No. But perfection is not achievable and society is FAR more diverse and inclusive than ever before.
I hate to be political, but the media and Democrats have gone to great lengths to create discourse and division SOELY for their own self-serving purposes. It is as if years of progressism actually worked to the point that progressives are having less and less to actually "do". Therefore they are now CREATING "problems" so they have something to "fix" again. It's pathetic!

I read that too. It's like he just couldn't bring himself to write what really happened. The bias and delusion, even in local media, is astounding.

You can't even find the story in the piece of shite advocate today.
This ought to be front page national news. But all you get is fricking crickets.
And you’re somehow surprised by this lack of coverage? Have you not been paying attention until now? Nothing gets reported by the national media that doesn’t conform to the leftist progressive political narrative. From an information standpoint we might as well be living in 1950s Soviet Russia.

Not sure if you did it on purpose or not, but you conveniently left off ‘black person gets shot by white person’ because almost everytime that happens, it’s huge national news

When was the article written and published?

In Louisiana, premeditation is not an element of 1st or 2nd degree murder so none of that matters at all.
Specific intent to kill may be what you're thinking of, and the Louisiana Supreme Court has ruled that the mere act of pointing a gun at person and pulling the trigger is enough to establish specific intent to kill.

They have already been indoctrinated to hate all white people. It's just a question WRT an individual believes the indoctrination or rejects it.

"Pre-meditation" is not a thing in La. It's just...did the offender have the specific intent to kill or cause great bodily harm.
If he did and was involved in another major crime (like robbery, burglary, etc..) or he killed multiple people= 1st degree murder and possibility of death penalty.
Just specific intent to kill or cause great bodily harm= 2nd degree murder and life in prison.
Think of 1st degree murder in LA as murder plus. The person meant to commit the murder and something else was going on as well (it during the commission of a felony, multiple people were killed, the victim was a kid, etc...)

I swear the people here just turn blinders on to actual news. It's there. NYT LINK. Also on Nola and in AP.
So they turn it into a magazine capacity argument. Yeah, super fair coverage.

A woman who identified herself as Mr. Williams’s aunt said in a Facebook post on Monday that Mr. Williams had struggled to control his anger. She cited systemic racism and his poor upbringing as contributing factors to his state of mind.
“He was sadly out of control of a situation because of a big time anger control issue,” the woman, Janice Hutchinson, wrote. “He was a victim of many social ills that plague too many young Black men who were born and raised in poverty in one of the wealthiest nations in the world.”
frick that dumb bitch.
