My kids are learning how to use the abacus

No one cares what your kids are learning, unless it has to do with the TOPIC. It has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but a sad attempt at trolling. GTFO

Considering the Declaration of Independence is written in cursive and not hieroglyphics it's probably a wee bit more relevant.
It's a shame no one has converted it to typed text.......

I am 33. The only cursive I have written since 7th grade is my name. It is literally one of the most useless skills taught in school.

Were you an advocate for mandating that we learned to write calligraphy as kids?

In 20 years we will be able to send secret letters in script and they won't be able to read it!!!!

They won't have a cool autograph when they get famous for something for a couple weeks.

Muthusala you would know. So you compare cursive writing to hyroglifics. Good analogy jackass.
I gave you an upvote!

Cursive is useless because most people write it like Michael J Fox writes Japanese.

I learned cursive 25 years ago and haven't used it since. A signature isn't cursive anymore.

It is officially removed from the EBR curriculum for sure, and it is not part of Common Core.

Complete wast of time other than singing your name maybe.

My grandmother has some of the most hardcore and perfect cursive I've ever seen and I can't read that shite as it looks like an alien language. Cursive is not needed anymore. It's irrelevant and outdated.
