ETA: This reminds me of the orchestrated train video where the drunk man is tackled by railroad work crews right before the train comes by - turned out to be fake.

If you watch the vid the truck that is filming honks his horn just as the kid takes off. Kid's attention is turned toward honking truck and away from the oncoming truck. Finally turns head just as oncoming truck about creams him. Example of when even when you try to help you can do more harm than good.
