First, thanks for what you do.

Second, what does it feel like to know that kids with a GED can make more than you when they are 18 while you have a master's degree? Must be soul crushing.

I’ve been in classrooms around some of these artistic kids. Throwing tantrums, slinging paint, cutting off their ears. It can get messy.

Best to just let them Gogh.

Who in their right mind would be a teacher today

My wife is a 4th grade teacher and it scares the shite out of me. Not because I’m worried about seeing her on here (maybe 4th graders have something better than I do) but because parents are ruthless on social media.

One wrong thing or a kid telling their parents something that didn’t actually happen, and she’s fired and all over the news.

However, I’m perfectly happy with the amount of money she makes. She never works and gets paid all year!

Guessing you've never been around an autistic child

That would be a wrong guess.

Then you agree, autism is a mental disorder even though they call it a "developmental disorder"?

Autism is a mental disorder that affects a persons ability to socialize and communicate. What is the issue with calling it a mental disorder?

It has honestly become a problem. People use social media to bitch about everything for attention.

If you have a problem with your child's teacher you need to speak with them or the principal not bitch about it on FB.

but if I speak to you in private I don't get the reward of feeling like I did something. I need that recognition from others on Facebook.

With the way autism is over-diagnosed now days, it’s likely you could look at this kind and never tell he was afflicted (if he even is).

Need more facts.

True.

Based on how she looks from behind, he probably wouldn’t want to tell anyone either.

Teachers have a crappy job today. I wouldn't want to do that job.

Not really, because all of them are going to work in shitty conditions doing things I don't want to do with no guarantee that they will have a job next week. Also, most of them will have to work their entire lives to get remotely comfortable enough to retire. I'm retiring and playing golf every day at 56.

Enjoy your rig/plant life though baw

How else are you supposed to get a disruptive, non-compliant child out of the classroom? A trail of M&Ms?

It’s technically not.
Classified as a development disorder.
