If Nashville ever hosted the Superbowl do you think they would have a country music themed halftime show?

It's a flawed system that counts viewers using subtitles twice.

Even the subtitles system couldn't understand more than every third word from him.

I love the "You just didn't like it because he is black and you're a white racist" lines people are throwing out there. The same people you're saying that about would most likely point to Prince or MJ as having put on the best halftime show ever. Some folks just can't handle that this one was just trash compared to those two.

The ratings for the halftime show are almost certainly directly proportional to the ratings for the actual game.

Very few people tune in for the halftime show and nothing else, except apparently when it was MJ.

There wasn't much diversity in it so I give it a thumbs down.

Do people typically turn the channel at halftime? No, they mute and socialize.

I saw a Venn Diagram on Reddit that showed there is a 99% overlap between dudes who care about rap half time shows, watch NBA, and frick other dudes in the arse.

Seemed pretty legit

It’s about right for the nfl, that the off the field shenanigans are getting more attention than anything that happened on the field

Par for the course I guess. It ain’t about football anymore, it’s about clicks and likes and media attention

I don't care what they say, that halftime show was abhorrent in tone and lyrical message. There is absolutely no way that this is accurate.

Disgusting messaging aside, Kendrick Lamar is a niche rap artist that only people 30 or younger would be familiar with his catalog. Every song was unintelligible and sounded the exact same. I couldn't tell one song from the other.

That said, who was the NFL trying to appeal to? I am not sure they understand their audience. The majority of their weekly fans are not in the 30 and under demographic.

That was a horrible idea for a halftime show. Goddell and JZ should both be fired for buying into this depraved garbage. They are killing the NFL product with crap like this that takes away from the game.
