Just out of curiosity what would be your conservative approach?

How do you think cruise ships get water? There’s a desalination process arid cities near a body of water should to start using.
How do you propose we power these highly efficient desalinization plants?

That's pretty agreeable honestly.
As long as they don't start limiting water usage like some places do......

Prohibit draining and filling of existing pools and filling of new pools

Fairhope is currently under a similar water restriction and has been for 10-days or so. It’s stupid. They cited strain on water system and not a lack of water as the reason. Apparently have police and other city utilities employees doing patrols during peak times to monitor.

I can see somebody’s bitch Karen neighbor, recording something like this and put it on Facebook.

yep. this is probably the more likely scenario of how people will get ticketed during water conservation restrictions.

Karen can eat a bag of dicks.
My water level gets down below tile to plaster? I’m adding. To not add and just watch water evaporate? Then we get a storm and you didn’t add water before? I’d prefer my pool not to raise out of the ground. Not even an inch or two.

Both of your comments are true. And it sickens me. However, these restrictions have nothing to do with that. They aren't political. They are implementing these measures during a drought in order to conserve water. Every single one of those bullet points seems reasonable to me during a drought.

Wait, don't we make fun of California for running out of resources?
They ran out?
So no more rain or fresh water for California? Ever?
No wonder people are leaving.

Combination of clean-coal burning and nuclear power plants.

Trying to not run out of water is a liberal conspiracy apparently. Some of yall need to take a break from the politics.

Well when your water usage shoots up…
But yeah, it’s more of an asking you not be an entitled douche

so building houses caused a drought?
Posted on 8/16/23 at 7:07 am to lsu777
frick all that. I have been watering almost every day here, and I fill the pool as needed. Hell, I have the sprinkler going in the back yard right now.

to be clear. Katy isn’t the only SouthEast Texas city to currently have implemented water restrictions on some level.
Tomball, Deer Park, Houston, Fulshear, Pearland, La Porte, and Rosenberg. And that’s just from what I can remember from hearing it on the local news every day. Same last year and that drought was worse.

So you can’t run a pump that uses no water but instead circulates it? They’ll have to explain that one.
