She’s 77, I don’t think anyone cares that people that old use it. It doesn’t matter.
People only complain about the able bodied folks who use it because they are lazy.

Kind of sad though because I’m pretty sure she had to get a double mastectomy not long after.
One of the better actresses of our time and also a pretty cool person by most accounts. Been through her share of health issues. I’m thrilled for her. She looks awesome for 77.

If you haven't seen her in Dolored Claiborne (SKing book), you should. Very good movie.

Some people have a significant portion of self worth in looks. They see discipline and hard work they require to have the improved quality of life you mention, or looks, as being devalued. They spend many hours on health related activities and someone receives and injection obtaining a similar benefit. They also have more competition because there are more people that look and feel better.
If someone made a lot of money and suddenly everyone could also make a lot of money by taking an injection, it would result in people hating on it. The person that spent significant amount of time in school and working long hours to get to their level would perceive that work as being diminished.
The drugs are making everyone’s life better. Even if I don’t take them, the savings on healthcare are significant and will help me by paying less in taxes. If everyone could take a pill and make lots of money, it would be better for everyone, too. But there would be lots of haters.
Many of the haters also fail to realize the drugs are correcting a chemical imbalance that makes people have urges and cravings that many people do not have, which results in excessive eating. They have never experienced that and think it is a lack of discipline, when objective science says otherwise. Much like people who have never experienced addiction think it is a lack of discipline for someone to stop. Unless you have experienced it, you can never understand it, so it is not their fault for being ignorant on those things.
