I don't have the slightest problem with letting the perp burn a fiery death.

But I do have a big problem with someone who says this is typical of illegal immigrants. It just isn't, and that's a fact.

A month ago (did you forget?) a retired white guy killed and wounded several hundred people from the Mandalay in Vegas. Does that mean I need to be careful around retire white guys?

Dumbass.

I recall hearing that her last words were, “Daddy, help me”.

It’s tragic.

I hate California and the a-hole liberals who control that state.

They take gun crimes seriously in CA unless you're one of their heroic illegal immigrants. Then you can kill someone and get away with it.

This is exactly what happened. The case was no longer about a person killing another person. It became about an illegal immigrant and a San Francisco jury chose an illlegal immigrant over a dead American. Liberals will do anything to advance their crazy causes.

Exactly my thought as well. I can't help but think this verdict by this sorry arse jury, with their cold hearts, was somehow politically motivated. This has been a very public case and was even bigger and higher profile because Trump using this case as an example for some of the things he wants to get done. And, IIRC, he even hosted the family of Kate during some event when they were trying to pass a bill or something like that, can't remember exactly what it revolved around off the top of my head.

If these sorry arse people used their political leanings and their want to prove a point that SF is a sanctuary city, I hope they all suffer losing a ball or titty or something . Seriously though, frick that jury. They had a confession and still fricked justice up.

I suspect this was the main motivation for letting the guy skate. Little do they know they probably just dropped the hammer on illegals and especially sanctuary cities.

The first words out of the public defenders' mouths after the verdict were to talk about Trump and Pence. I have a feeling it's going to backfire. I would expect to see DHS start heating up.

This is a fricking travesty of justice.

I thought for sure he would be found guilty of 2nd degree murder or at least manslaughter. But to find him not guilty?! WHAT THE frick?

The jurors should be hung next to that frick.

How fricking inept was the prosecution in this case?

The thing that I don't understand is that they said he wasn't guilty of negligent homicide because he didn't know what he was doing was dangerous.

Isn’t that the entire purpose of negligent homicide?

How could you not know that handling a gun was dangerous? That's what I don't understand.

In almost every common law jurisdiction in America, murder is defined as the unlawful killing of another with malice aforethought. In order to prove malice, the prosecution need only prove the Defendant acted with a depraved heart. Case after case has held that firing a gun in a crowded area, even where there is no specific intent to kill or hurt someone, is still malice and therefore murder. This is jury nullification based on political belief, period. San Francisco should be ashamed of itself.

This is why everyone needs to report to jury duty, act as “progressive” as possible, and render some sweet guilty verdicts on these dirt bags.
