This may sound insensitive, but why are illegal immigrants given due process for a crime they commit in the US?
If only we enforced the actual law that doesn’t allow people to enter the country illegally
Not to mention allowing an illegal felon with a firearm that had been deported 5 times and arrested 7 times.
frick that.

I understand the question, but I’m not sure of what the alternative would be, other than expulsion from the country, which wouldn’t seem fair to any victim of their crime.
Plus, American citizens also hope to have some type of due process when charged with crimes in other countries.

She's pretty. I hate him.

It's easy to see why this was done. It has nothing to do with justice. It has everything to do with a middle finger to Kate, her family, Trump and all people who supported Kate's bill.
These people are just horrible people. Inhumane. They treat sorry arse killers and rapists better than law abiding citizens.

I get that. I took the question as to why he was given due process for a murder charge. I’d rather he go to trial for that and not just be deported again.

The bullet ricocheted off the pavement first, that made it really hard to prove this was intentional, if the DA had only charged negligent homicide they may have convicted. That he was a illegal immigrant should have had no bearing on the case, but it is likely that the same thing done by a white guy with no record would have been ruled a accidental shooting. Flame me if you want, you know its true.

You can still prosecute and jail them. But they aren’t afforded due process.

If an American is in another country illegally, I don’t care.

They charged involuntary manslaughter and he was acquitted. What's your response to that lib?

This is the part that really pisses me off. I don't think I should be allowed to stay in any other country illegally, but somehow people think others should be entitled to do just that in the West.
Mexico's southern border is heavily guarded but they bemoan the fact that we want to beef up our security

People would fricking die.
This is absolutely, egregiously, tragically immoral and unacceptable.

The double standard is fricking galling. Not only are we not allowed to police our border like every other nation on this earth, but we're racist for even SUGGESTING that those here illegally should be evicted.
It. Makes. No. Sense.

Yep. But they'll still preach to us about inclusiveness.
