There are people on the OT posting regularly that it is our patriotic duty to pay $4 a gallon to prop up the O&G industry. frick that. The industry needs to get lean and buy less F250’s. I love me some $1.50 gas.

Saying $20 oil is bad =/= saying $4.00 gas is good.

but surely you’re still driving a dually with a big set on her huh?

I know I’m taking my girl to the car wash later today and plan on getting some cromed out mud flaps since the OT has assured me they’ll bail the O&G industry.

just the other day we were mid way through the curve and they wanted to lower TVD 40 feet. DD rotated 1/2 a joint since they were ahead. get the call back and they wanted to raise it 30'. ended up waay low.

no wonder he lost his job, he's standing around a few hundred yards away from the job site with his head down

The truck nuts and F350s are obviously a meme/stereotype but just like any other stereotype, it came to exist based on reality.

To act like there aren't a ton of oilfield workers driving around in bigger trucks than they technically need pulling their toy hauler with the side by side in back is being obtuse, KK.

My next thought has nothing to do with why I disagree but they are quick to raise prices and slow to lower when the price per barrel drops all while many were posting record profits despite many Americans suffering during the great recession. Maybe you can see why some Americans take the attitude that O&G can F off.

Who is “they”?

You realize that the price controls you’re talking about come from OPEC, and the American O&G industry you despise is the only thing keeping oil anywhere close to a free market right now?

I find it hard to believe that trucking companies are still charging fuel surcharges, (saw 18.5% on one invoice), while diesel prices have fallen 20% since January.
