It doesn’t fricking matter if it was intentional, you simple shite. Negligence is negligence.

I really hope this is the thing that takes Ard down

Is this true? How would anyone even know, unless you ratted yourself out

Something must have changed because LP used to leave their vehicles running ALWAYS. Even if they were not a K9 unit. Just so they did not have to return to a hot car. Two deputies eating lunch? Two patrol cars in the lot engines running.

Why is this piece of shite deputy not being charged with a crime here?
Those dogs are considered officers, right? If a perp attacks a K-9 it’s considered assaulting an officer i believe.
So shouldn’t this one be charged with killing an officer?
Also, do police dogs have the urge to shoot themselves?

Woody Overton lied to me, sounds like Jason Ard is a piece of shite especially after the episodes on denny Perkins

Isn’t the dog considered a regular cop? Shouldn’t this frick tard who left him in the vehicle be charged with killing a cop?

That's stupid.

Ard said the officer responsible for Ivar was disciplined, but did not offer specifics. It is the sheriff's policy to keep disciplinary actions private and not release the names of disciplined officers

Motorcycle Cop : Do you know what the penalty for animal cruelty is in this state?
Clark Griswald : No, sir, I don't.
Motorcycle Cop : Well... it's probably pretty stiff.
The whole world still laughs 40 years later. And it's a terrible act of animal cruelty.
I LOVE that scene.

Terrible, I wonder if something malfunctioned with the vehicle and it cut it off or something.

Capitol offense. Should be hung for that.

But this board loves to support cops…

Yes it is. But it just shows how they will come up with whatever they wish to throw someone in the can for as long as possible.
Also, I find it interesting that sending a dog in to chew someone up is not considered police brutality while an officer doing the same or worse would likely be brought under scrutiny by the public.

frick off with this BS. If any civilian killed a police dog, he’d be charged harshly and expected to make restitution- these dogs ain’t cheap.
The fact that his handler- who trained and likely lives with the dog- forgot him in his car is every bit as neglectful as a bus driver leaving a kid on the bus. Albeit it’s a human life and not an animal. But dismissing it as you are because it’s a dog is BS. This idiot, who has authority and power beyond and over the citizenry, is too stupid and irresponsible to remember his “partner” and ends up killing it? And you want to be magnanimous? Bull shite.

He should face the same penalty a civilian would face. Basically, assault of an officer

Hmm…if you ever have a pet, after a few years, let’s do the same thing as this story amd see how you feel. Of course, we won’t really do that because we aren’t pieces of shite.
