Yeah I’m pretty sure he’s been talked to about picking up his speed. Everyone here knows he’s a slow worker but his work was always done and it’s not really needed on a timeline. Just need the reports done before the next morning. Who knows I guess.

I’m not positive of anything. He is a purchaser with access to our credit cards so who knows but I could never see it with this guy. Extremely nice guy. You never know tho I guess.

You have a lot less flexibility with someone who takes longer to do currently assigned work. It basically means his bandwidth is severely limited and in crunch time you can't expect to get anything extra out of that employee.
I do feel bad for him, but he was clearly in over his head and doesn't compare favorably to others, the way you've described it.

Not sure how the pay schedule works, but if paid OT, or even just regular time, or comp time, that is a shite load of money over 21 years, bruh.
Depending on salary, you’re talking about the company taking a $100 bath everyday to keep him.

Yeah I mean obviously there was more to it than I know unless the whole time thing really was an issue. Idk. I don’t work with purchasing too closely but I know the reports aren’t needed till the next day from the previous days work.
