I spent a good but of time on there in the lead up to the election as it was solid pro-Trump info which was impossible to come by anywhere else...but now...JESUS. I left for good when people started in all seriousness suggesting Trump should find a way to stay no matter what and the real nail in it was the "would you die for Trump thread"

I had to take a break and come back to the OT for a little while. It went from entertaining and fun to outright assault, to delusional posters on both sides. I couldn’t take it seriously anymore once some asked for real reasons anyone would vote Biden/Harris and 90% of the replies were bc not Trump.

I may wait for the poliboard to open back up and join the Biden/Harris bashing. God knows we’ve spent 4 years taking it, there will be a lot of comical pent up anger to get out. Probably enough to last 4 years, or at least until Nancy bounces Biden out and we get to witness the Kamala chronicles.

Well when you have United States senators going on national tv and suggesting state legislatures nullify their own state election results. The only question is whether the craziness filters up, down, or both at the same time.

During the Obama years there was thoughtful debate and intellectual discussion all the time. Trump came along and everything went to shite.
A whole different crew moved in and took over.

Far be it from me to praise an Alabama site but Tidefans has a decent off topic/political board. The discussion is civil and there's a diversity of viewpoints. The owner is pretty conservative but he moderates it himself and doesn't tolerate any bullshite. TDs management has chosen another paradigm. Their absolute right to do what they wish, but it's led to the absolute shitshow that is the poliboard.

It really is a clusterfrick, but the melts and delusion have just been sooo choice.
