Same here. Love it. Best thing I recently learned…if it’s out of warranty and something goes wrong you can basically order parts from them and their tech support will tell you how to fix it. They have online maintenance tutorials on their site too. We fried the circuit board in one and for about $80 I got a kit with a new circuit board, pump, hoses, etc. and instructions on how to fix it. Super simple.
That’s awesome! I’ll definitely remember that. Mine is 4 years old and still working great.
re: Bed jet vs sleep number: anyone sleep warm?
Posted by Snow on 3/9/26 at 1:55 pm to dyslexiateechur
I have a BedJet and used it for multiple years. It’s great, but a cooling pad is WAY better. I use the Ooler system by sleep.me. It’s been replaced by the chilipad series. These systems are life changing. They do cost more, but it’s worth it. My wife made fun of all of my cooking devices for years. She had some health issues that caused hot flashes and I talked her into getting one. She swears by it now too.
Glad I cancelled my membership when they showed their true colors last time.

Regular time. We do holiday swaps.
re: How long do you leave up your halloween decorations?
Posted by Snow on 11/3/25 at 12:52 pm to HenryParsons
It depends, but this year was Saturday because I wanted to run the lawnmower.
Side note, I think I’m done buying the inflatables. Moving toward more of a classic look with my decorations.

re: Why is Eddie Vedder popular and Scott Stapp not?

Creed including Scott Stapp seem pretty popular right now.

There is a hard limit on how many inches I can offer.

Ah ha!
I have one and a big fan of it. I disagree with the cold shower first. I can’t stand cold showers, but find the plunges not too bad after the initial shock. I live in Louisiana and during the summer it’s more of a cool shower at best and winter time just sucks.
I don’t like coffee.

I’m at work and haven’t had Dinner yet. I didn’t get to take part in a Thanksgiving meal.
We are having ribeyes and baked potatoes though!

re: Would you buy a KIA?
Posted by Snow on 10/26/24 at 5:45 am to Ponchy Tiger
I bought my first Kia for my wife in 2017. I doubt I ever buy another one. It is burning 2 quarts of oil between oil changes with 60k miles on it. Lots of little things are breaking. I don’t think they are the “cheap” well made car they used to be.
re: Why do some people stop in traffic with 2-3 car lengths between them and the car in front?

One of the Smith system defensive driving principles. “Leave yourself an out”
If only we had some sort of technology that would email you a receipt of your picks for verification.
If you think all the undesirable people are paying a premium to buy legal weed, you are way off. My wife is going through cancer and I’ve been with her to their other location. It’s a big mix of different types of people and it’s not cheap. More than double of street value.
