Nerds 100 deep waiting for Pokémon cards…lawn chairs and even a couple tents. Wish I had a hobby that meant that much to me.

Don’t come here and post this after all your “bragging” about how you are edging and gooning all the time with your friends.

Weirdo.

Meanwhile, my 7 year old hasn't gotten a pack of cards in about a year because they're hard to find and I'm not paying over retail for him to take any card that might be worth anything, fold it in half, and put it in his pocket, or trade it to a friend for a pack of gum.

I have a box of those things from when I was a kid. I wonder if they are worth anything?

Edit- I’d be lying if I said I’ve never gotten up early and waited an hour for a Stagg Jr barrel drop.

I''ll take Pokemon nerds waiting in line at Target over trannies who want packing underwear and pervert shirts waiting in line at Target.

I do the same when da pool opens every spring. I also spend a few weeks of hunting season in a tent. I'm glad the nerds are lining up for pokemon and not for hunting/fishing, less competition for me. It's a harmless hobby so I'm happy they're happy.

Just another thing ruined by money. Have some good memories as a kid of going to books a million and getting a pack or two and trading w other kids up there. There wasn't thousands of different cards, nor were there scalpers. Might be nostalgia bias but times were just better in the 90s.

Also, I hope im not the only one that lost all their cards along the way and can't rememeber how. Could've been some money in them :(

Sounds like you saved some money

Exactly how is it that you know what they are in line for?
