It's telling them them that it's not wrong if they feel differently or other people feel differently. But it sounds like you're "old school" and want people who may feel differently repress those feelings, go to church, drink a beer and look at a nudie magazine, never speak of any feelings again, etc, right? (I can do hyperbole too)

The speech is absolutely PAINFUL to read, but it isn’t nearly as bad when listened to spoken.

You honestly believe that he was the first who was pro gay rights?
You need to step outside the Donald's tweets for some perspective. I will admit, I don't read all his tweets, but haven't seen anything about his pro-LGBT (or pro-G) agenda that I can recall.
