So true. It’s infuriating to see. Hang in there people. We will overcome.
But never forget Pelosi & Schumer’s attitude toward those in DESPERATE need.

Yep. Gotta believe in yourself but you also have to able to look reality right in the face.

The entire world is facing the same thing yet all I see these days is Trump vs "Lib tards" talk.
That's all these people care about. Owning the libs as payback for Obama.

New SBA rules allow you to get a loan to cover payroll, rent, utilities, and a few other things. The payroll portion of the loan is forgivable. Look into it.
Let's see how strict the guidelines are for the loan.

I’m stuck in a crappy situation as well. I am starting my insurance agency on 4/1 and my bosses basically said bring in everyone I hired. I have 3 employees I’ve hired and are ready to start on 4/1 but I’m not sure what to do. None of the people are licensed and we can work where we are all 6 feet away from each other but I don’t know what to do.
My plan is to bring them on and pay them $10/ hr instead of what I was planning and get them as well trained in whatever they can do and ride it as long as I can. Our business will still be bringing in money as I have an existing book but if this goes out any longer, I don’t know if I will be able to keep anyone/everyone.
My people don’t even rely on me yet but I am nervous about how I will be letting them down.

You fools are focused on bullshite infighting of political scum on both sides to distract you from how terrible a job they are all doing regarding this virus.
Suck a big fat one.
People are starting to lose everything and that bitch Pelosi is trying to get 300 million for damn immigrants plus a ton of other shite.
OP
I hope you guys are able to bounce back soon.

Had to call a guy in last week to give him his 2 week notice; which was planned and he was informed a couple months in advance it was coming. (all pre-coronavirus) Timing was horrible and didnt want to do it and in turn I got a call later that afternoon with my 2 week notice. Courtesy of yours truly, Coronavirus.

Did the same thing on Friday. $45MM of projects is on hold indefinitely.
Our installation is not letting anyone on that doesnt wear a uniform or have a certain ID.
This sucks for everyone and the pain will get worse as time goes on.

You have to live to fight (and hire) another day.
You can't use your line to finance payroll indefinitely, especially with no revenue coming in.
Not to mention that revenue already booked will be slow.

And this is where the politics (much less bureaucracy) comes in. That info is not yet available, because it isn’t funded.
And we have no idea how long the waiting game will be

I don’t think the payroll portion is ‘forgiveable’, but instead can be written off come tax time.
