Cake bakers out in Oregon might disagree with you here.

A buddy of mine got denied when we were about 25 because they said his ID was fake. They asked him a bunch of questions and he answered them all. Then the guy still wouldn't sell it to him Some places take it way too seriously.

There sure seems to be a lot of butthurt over these damned cakes. I had no idea people were such pusses about baked goods.

Not true....if you were gay and they wouldn't sell to you, the liberals would make them either sell to you or fine you 100s of thousands of dollars and put a gag order on you to never speak about your beliefs again.

I know this happens all the time but it has never happened to me. I get most of my alcohol from AM mart and my underage friends usually come in and buy mixers, sandwiches, etc.

This happened to me a few times when I was right around the legal age and some buddies were old enough and some weren't. Pretty common....just go back in solo

Anyone ever notice that black cashiers only ever card white folks? Absolutely a true story.

Actually as dumb as it sounds they are correct in this case. The police will sometimes send in two people when "testing businesses" (the second being underage), if they sell to them it's the same as selling to an underage person. You can get a huge fine and lose your job just for that. Stupid rule, but that person is only protecting their job. That's the world we live in...

Everything you just said is incorrect.

. Is this actual law?

Yea. I don't care what anyone tells you here. Going back to 92 and drinkin age was 18,the abc guys would wait outside a store for one person to buy booze and return to a car load of buddies. They would pounce and ID everyone in the car. It was also Very common to get denied a sale back then if someone underage walked up to counter with you holding the booze and then you tried to show ID and buy it. This Is nothing new. Lesson learned.

Um. I will bet a child of mine much less a ban bet that the abc has done this very thing regardless of what fines were ever imposed.

The cashiers usually say it's a law but it's only store policy. Don't argue back with some one with an 80 IQ. They can't follow logic. I'll just leave and go to another aisle without the younger person. Suck it WalMart.

Between this idiocy and WalMart firing employees who pursue shoplifters, I generally avoid shopping there when possible. It's not the all-American store it used to be.

I buy beer all the time with my 5 year old. Never have a problem. Joke's on them, though. Little dude can kill a sixer like a boss.

Thanks Obama...

It's not law, but they have the right to refuse to sell anyone alcohol.

My wife and I both were Asked to show ID buying groceries (including alcohol) at Publix. I asked if they also wanted the ID of my 2 and 4 year olds who were standing next to us.
