America is morbidly obese.

I find it disgusting how fricking fat the average person is.

That non-tattooed part would knock out half of guys under 40 most likely.

Can confirm. Our fatness is physical proof that we’re literally lobbied to death.

Yeah I have no clue how people can go there from June through September.

Well it wasn’t by choice. My kid has a huge dance convention this week.

Dude, I was born smack dab in the middle of Gen X, and I'm 52. I'm not middle aged. If so, that's means I'd live on average to be 104. Gen X ends with people born in 1979, which makes them 45 this year. Those tatted up women are the damned Millennials, per usual.

Thanks I totally agree. The Millenials are the ones with the tats everywhere. I don’t care either way. But I am tired as a Gen X being lumped in as a Boomer or a Millenial. But guess what? Being a Gen X means that shite has happened to us our entire damn life.

Oh and to original OP, cool story bro.

We went to WDW for a family trip in August right after they reopened from the COVID shutdown. The original visit was for Spring but that got canceled and we took what we could. It was pretty awesome.

Entry to the country was still locked down for many international visitors. All of the parks were open but capacity was cut way back. There were no Fastpasses allowed and Genie hadn’t been invented yet. You could look at the Disney app and see true wait times. People who had the discipline to wake up early were rewarded with shorter lines and I can’t remember a single line where you stood in the sun. Only one day was sunny and hot - the rest were cloudy.

Would I schedule another August visit? No but I can no longer say the park is not enjoyable in Summer (come on, Bird Flu!!!).

It was actually a Mexican soap opera where a Mexican sneaks over the border to the US, has a stroke then posts on the internet everyday to tell people what he ate for lunch

You should have gone to Palm Beach instead. That city is like being in a European country. Everyone looks beautiful and dressed in a dapper fashion….both day and night.

We are a fat society in search of the most quantity of food at the cheapest price. The health factor of it does not compute.

40% of Americans are obese

Ireland, England, France are all right at 30% obese

Yeh man, they aren’t fat as frick too…..

Those that think Europeans are all skinny have never been to Europe.

I’m currently in Ireland. I’m not saying there are no obese people, but it does seem to be a stark contrast from certain parts of the US.
