If you've ever experienced traffic in Los Angeles, you'd realize that BR traffic is just as bad if not worse.

I work around there but commute from southeastern BR.

I-10 is being widened right now so it should be better when that's done. I've never commuted from Airline in that direction.

10 west to 12 east during rush hour is dumb. Should have taken surface streets to 12.

I work in LA and go several times throughout the year. I rarely mind the traffic there since I don't live there and am just glad to be anywhere but here, but the traffic itself is 1000000x worse than anything I deal with here.

That said, I live Highland/Lee area and even if I take the interstate home from work, I don't have to go past the Acadian exit. It is stop and go from downtown until the split, but gets pretty easy after that and doesn't get bad again until College Dr exit.

News just reported it a parking lot. Nother reason I wouldn't live or work in BR.

I’ve told my woman: I’m never working/living there.

Nah that's highly unusual. Probably usually 45 minutes.

Not everybody agrees with you.

And there's no way that LA traffic is "x100000" worse than BR.

Br past the 10/12 split to the parish line isn’t that bad if you can work and live all within the same area. Traveling across the metro regularly is Hell.

On another note, why does Baton Rouge not have a nice welcome sign? Like when you’re coming into the city in any direction?

Tony's, the airport and bailing your buddy out of EBRPP are reasons to go to NBR I guess. Or maybe you work at Exxon. I rarely go north of Florida though.
