Just get off in Lafayette and take 90 through Morgan city then to Nola. Only about 45 minutes longer

Living in Livingston isn't all it's cracked up to be! That is second only to Bridge traffic Eastbound into BR.

Wayze is handy
And the interstate isn’t always bad. Just depends on the time and the direction you’re going at that time.
Also, I’ve noticed that it’s not really bad most times in between the Siegen and college exits. So i use those exits and do the remainder of my drives on the surface streets after exiting or to get to one of thuse exits. The parts of my usual drives before and after those exits are very near those exits though, so it works well for me.
