I have had the test and it was under $100 cash to my doctor.

Mine was $105 about 2 months ago. They said insurance didn’t cover it that it was a cash paid procedure .

Insurance doesn’t pay for coronary calcium scores. At least in Louisiana. It’s a $50 charge at our clinic. Might be different at other facilities but shouldn’t be more than $200. They either billed for the wrong service or you made a mistake in what you thought you were being billed for.

Which health system is trying to screw you over? Post em up!!!!! I have that they do this to people.

My doc charges 100 bucks. Nothing hidden.

I pay to get this done every few years. I believe it costs about $2500.

It must be a different test. The one I do is a big machine they roll you into and it whirrs for a few minutes, then done. Then they tell you how much of something or another that you have built up, and supposedly calcium buildup is proportionate to that.

Sorry for the vagueness, but medical terms go in one ear and out the other for me.

I had one done about six weeks ago, cost was $75, and the hospital didn’t even ask for my insurance card, because most insurance companies won’t pay for it. Strictly a cash transaction.
