He probably makes really dry turkey
Which is why they knew even a premade and reheated turkey would have more moisture

First world problems
"But muh holiday feast was made by professionals and is going to be delicious instead of the dry homemade turkey and shitty sides I'm used to"

Well if it’s good who cares.

Sounds like some shite my mom would do.
We don't leave holiday plans up to her anymore for that reason.

My MIL has done this for a few years now. She will gladly spend a couple hundred dollars instead of cooking and preparing for 2 days prior

Sounds like they are fully enjoying the retired life then. No stressing in the kitchen all day

We do this every year at the beach. Frick all that cooking. Watch football get hammered and listen to the waves crash in

Wives Grandma flew in from 200 miles away on a Cessna Citation. I’m plenty thankful today, we have a very amazing life. Im not sorry that I wanted some turkey cooked today instead of yesterday though. I’m mostly bullshitting, like I said it’s gonna be some very good food. I just wish I would have known before this morning and I would have happily offered to cook. Plus, it’s always fun to light up the downvotes.

All your wives have the same grandmother? There is some weird Alabama shite going on here.

Bruh, marrying one rich wife is amateur hour. Multiple is where it’s at.

Be thankful for sharing the time with your family OP. I get what you’re saying and yeah ideally they would have let you know so that y’all could have "much appreciated but the me and I love to cook, we don’t mind and we’ll take care of it." But in all honesty who cares though, eat and enjoy

Thanksgiving food is overrated anyway. Sweet potatoe crunch and a couple of other sides are good but other than that it’s all meh.

I disagree but it’s all good. I enjoy some good potatoes, green bean casserole, and dark meat turkey with giblet gravy. It may not be my preferred last meal but I enjoy it. I’ll be having god food today. I hope everyone else has a great day too.
