Most people do not know what Juneteenth means. It is a Texas holiday. Should not be federal. Slaves were Emancipated in April and word reached Texas June 19....therefore it's called Juneteenth in Texas.

When I lived in Seattle, they didn’t celebrate MLK day. And then my company forced it on us, and removed a day of Christmas break. Some of us worked on MLK day and got reprimanded for it, so they literally locked the building the next year.
Of course, the next year they went off the rails and renamed King County for him, a place he visited once and had no connections.
