Holy frick that was a shitty thing to do to that chic. That looked like a helluva drop. Do you know the back story to that video?

I feel bad for laughing at that gif. I’m a terrible person.

I knew a guy who jumped off the Huey P. Long in New Orleans on Super Bowl Sunday, 2009. I had just seen him that previous Friday night. He seemed fine. Nobody had a clue.

They were a bunch of high school kids jumping off the bridge to the water about 60 feet below. She was scared to jump, so her "friend" pushed her off the bridge. She lived, but had broken ribs and a punctured lung.

I checked. I'm an a-hole, but not a "post a snuff gif" kind of a-hole.

Hope the current jumper does what they feel is right, but that a-hole from that gif needs to die

I can confirm the guy has jumped. First responders and river workers are searching for him down stream as we speak.

I have a picture of the jumper before he jumped but I’m afraid I’d get banned if I post it. It’s not graphic or anything at all, but it’s still someone’s loved one and it’s probable that some posters here are related to him.

That never crossed my mind (but good deal scoping it out and for those reasons). I was just wondering what the back story was because that obviously could have ended up far worse than what you discovered. What a moronic a-hole that guy was. We all make questionable decisions in our youth but, damn, that was demented.

Facebook is only trashy if the account owner is trash that only had trashy friends and family and is too dumb to know how to delete and hide said trashy friends to allow for positive benefits

Apparently the first thought is "Oh, shite. I messed up."

Take it from two guys who survived jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge:

quote:

"The millisecond my legs cleared it, the millisecond of true free fall, instant regret for my actions," said Kevin.

Ken had a startlingly similar experience: "I just vaulted over, and I realized, at that moment, this is the stupidest thing I could have done."

And here is an interesting take from a Coast Guard guy who pulled bodies out beneath the bridge:

quote:

Years later, he still has nightmares about pulling bodies from the water beneath the Golden Gate Bridge.

"The human psyche isn't meant to see bodies in the condition we saw them in," said Butler. "When these people jump, they don't hit the water and go peacefully into the night. I don't think people realize that. Sometimes the bodies are things you'd see on a horror show."

If gas keeps being below 2 bucks a gallon we’re gonna have a lot more like this. Think of that next time you’re happy to save a few cents to fill your Prius

He jumped.
