Zero media coverage. I think they do that on purpose to not give other people ideas.

If only the media applied that same method in regards to protests and riots

Side note: that's a hard core way to go. Even a gun can misfire or not necessarily kill you. Not too many people walk away from a jump that's high enough.

hypothetically if I decided it was the end for me, I'm going out from an injury I can't limp away from.

Do people often jump off of the roof of Casinos?

That's probably why he jumped.

I wonder if he won.

There was a couple this week off the Natchez Trace bridge less than a mile from me.

Is that real? Looks awesome. Never knew that existed.

I saw a guy threatening to do it, and the mob mentality is insane. The police didn't have them far enough back and they were chanting for the guy to jump.

That bridge is awesome CAD.

We go to our friend's farm in Leiper's a lot and always drive under it. There is a that massive mansion in that gated community right next to it, I'm assuming you're not in that neighborhood?

I'm pretty sure I could survive a dive into the MS river from the MS River Bridge. I'd probably gracefully swan dive into the water and swim to the shore. Very strong swimmer here.

I stumbled upon a guy threatening to jump once while drunk. I wanted to shout "do a flip." But even in my drunken stupor I knew I'd feel bad if the guy jumped.

A kid I grew up with jumped from the Leo Frigo Bridge in Green Bay this past spring. That water pretty quickly becomes very hard at a certain height. The only thing about jumping in the water is I wonder if you could straighten up and go toes first and survive it. I don't think it's as high as the Natchez Trace, but it's up there.

ETA: Just did a search and it looks like people have survived this jump before.

Bridge into Texas a couple miles from me had a robbery suspect jump off a few years back. It was before they replaced the old bridge and was only about 15 feet over the water.

The cops, luckily for the fool, already had a boat nearby. He stuck in the mud up to his chest with his head just under the surface of the water. They got him with only mud resistance just before he could drown/suffocate. If he had dove headfirst he'd be dead.

I was at LaTech in the mid 80's and pulling into the back parking lot of Neilson dorm when my gf saw the guy about mid jump. We clearly heard the THUMP when he hit the dumpster with the car windows up and music on. Didn't see his bounce out of the empty dumpster luckily. His corpse was laying about 15 feet to the side of the dumpster. Crazy fool was found to have a countdown calendar to ensure his parents were deep into their Euro vacay. Pictures used to be around taken by Ruston Daily Leader and Tech PD showing the tracks in the roof gravel where he took a full out running start.
