This is fricking tragic. I never thought in a million years that I would hope Janice Clark is the judge on a case I'm defending. She gonna make Janice and Brother of Cleo look like Thurgood Marshall.

This “Judge” was solely responsible for letting that monster, Aramis Jackson out of jail for performing a “random act of kindness” for a stranger. Weeks later, this fricking animal Jackson, brutally murdered a Mom in Beauregard Town, and nearly killed her daughter.

I remember that. The POS killed the woman for her flat screen TV and shot the little girl in the back as she was trying to run away.

With Trudy White leaving the criminal bench, does that mean it's just a bench now?

So she can find for/against people based on their race in civil cases now.

At least she's only making decisions about money and not letting child rapists on the street.

She's going to wreck more lives from the civil bench than she ever could have hoped to destroy from the criminal bench.

How does that work? Who appointed her to the civil court?

She should be disbarred. Stupid count. She seriously has blood on her hands (not literally).

A little girl watched her single mother get killed by an animal who should have been in prison, but instead was told by this women to just mow grass for a few neighbors, then put him back on the street, which he then went rob and kill the single mother mentioned.

I can't remember the other times someone she let go easy only for them to hit the streets again where they ended up committing violent crimes. If I recall there is at least one more situation in which someone was murdered.

The fact she is still working in the legal system is a joke.

She let the guy out who later killed the Zachary cop when they went to serve a warrant on him.

She also let out a convicted child molester on “compassionate leave” awaiting sentencing while he was living next door to the victim.

That doesn’t even go into the guy in Zachary who was molesting the girl he somehow ended up with custody for (he ended up with it instead of the mother somehow despite not being the father). Trudy let him off easy then the girl and her boyfriend killed him and burned the body.

I don't know if this is something that is kept track of, but if one judge is putting more people back on the street who are committing violent crimes a lot more than any other judge, you would think there would be some type of investigation into the judge.

But I guess that's what happens when you elect judges. Their first priority becomes staying in office.

It’s the same court. In small courts, some with just one judge, the judge presided over all kinds of cases.

Some bigger districts like EBR with multiple judges divide up the work as civil, criminal, and family law sections. The judges yearly or so pick, based on seniority, which section they want to preside over. Not sure how they do it in EBR, but it could be as simple as that.

At first I thought “good maybe Gordon would have to deal with her in court” but then I realized that Gordon doesn’t go to court.
