She isnt saying she is broke. She is saying her family is broke. Which may be true now, but i doubt they were struggling to feed her growing up

I don't buy it. If her dad was a top MLB star and he has $50/month for a phone, he can call his buddies and make some introductions that the average joe cannot. He may not have a big bank account, but he has a rolodex and that is half the battle. Probably far more than half.
"Work my arse off" is not only subjective but something most of us have to do anyway. Welcome to the real world.

She's not really saying that they were destitute when she was young. She's saying she didn't get her career due to her parents paying her way in b/c by the time she was in elementary school her dad had blown through all his earnings.
It's in response to the whole nepo baby backlash on the internet right now. She's tired of bitter internet shitheads attacking her claiming everything she has was given to her b/c of wealth and nepotism.
