Does he not understand that if he succeeds in demonizing shrimp, consumers aren't going to say, "Oh my God, we need to eat only pure, nutritious, Louisiana shrimp from now on!" ? They're going to say, "Oh my God, I'm never touching a shrimp again as long as I live."

John Kennedy is one of the smartest men I've spoken to, and has excellent recall.
The posters not getting this obvious hyperbole are exactly the ones I would hsve anticipated.

Didnt his son have a house party and trashed his neighbors house in Madisonville and got sued.......seems pretty smart

WDSU reached out to the Fishers' attorney and didn’t get an answer.
The lawsuit states Steven and Heidi Fisher are seeking damages from the 20-year-old.
The documents state James lives with his parents, John and Rebecca Kennedy.
According to the suit, when the Fishers returned from out of town, they found their home was ransacked and damaged and personal items were missing stolen or broken.
In the paperwork, the family claims a home security system captured James throwing a party and inviting numerous guests over.
Documents state guests were drinking and smoking all night into the early morning.
The suit states upon further inspection it was clear that their master bedroom and their children's bedrooms were used for sexual encounters by those invited in the home.
"I'm shocked. I mean, total disrespect,” said neighbor Pamela Love, who has lived in the community for seven years.
"You trust someone to come into your home; it's just mind blowing,” Love said.
Documents state the Fisher family showed the Kennedy family the video evidence and damage.
According to the lawsuit, the Kennedys said the damages would be repaired, the mess would be cleaned, and the lost stolen and damaged items would be replaced.
The documents state an insurance company surveyed the damage but no payment was given.
The documents state the Fishers even agreed at one point to accept much less than the true amount of their damages just to avoid having to file this lawsuit.
WDSU went to Kennedy’s home, but in a brief encounter, someone at the home told us “no comment.”
