Wife (no pics) is HR manager and today she has to fire two salary employees. One of the employees is a don't let the door hit you on the way out employee but the other she has had a good relationship with. She was down about having to let her friend go today. The shite I hear when she works from home from dumb asses not doing their job and making up bs to weekend calls from employees that miss flights has me thankful that I don't have her job. Pay is good but nah I'm good. Anybody else know people that have these type of jobs or you have one of these jobs?

Master electrician (not to turn this into a trades argument). I’m afraid of electrocuting myself. Plus, it seems really hot in attics in the summer.

I couldn’t be a vet
I think putting loved pets down would get to me after a short time
Also, thinking of large farm animals like cows & that episode of dirty jobs

If you are a master electrician and you are going into hot attics you are doing it wrong. That’s what the apprentice is for.

Honest question. Are you saying that basically some grunt wires up top and then the master electrician wires up the circuit board or something?

Everyone glamorizes being a coroner but I just don't think I could handle the smell of formaldehyde all day.

Bro, coroners smell much worse things than formaldehyde. They smell rotting bodies.

Formaldehyde is what would be smelled by people who are preserving bodies. And I don’t actually think they use formaldehyde for an anatomy lab anymore. I think they have some different chemical.

I've had a talk or two with former friends that were vet techs.

They say that it's not something that is taken lightly, but it's something that doesn't really phase the staff. You do it, and move on to the next appt.

Yeah of course you feel for the animal and the "owner", but you move on pretty quickly.. sort of like.. "Okay, what's for lunch?!"

master electricians aren’t crawling through an attic in the summer.

UPS drivers make six figures but you work before the sun comes up and after the sun goes down.

I've tried the management route in the past and I absolutely hated it. Being the one everyone comes to with problems looking for a solution all day every day is not for me. frick that, let me do my job and only my job.

I can't imagine that many problems needing solutions come up on a daily basis at your Wendy's location.

This. I hate killing most things except roaches and spiders. I love animals too much.
