Was Norris a brilliant athlete and top-shelf star? Yes. But there’s no denying that his roles were part of a body of work used to show American strength, might and the pernicious attraction of taking the law into one’s own hands — something that seems less fun in a year in which our country is funneling money into bombing Iran and ICE agents are acting like one-man militias.
I’d argue times like these are when we need Chuck Norris most.

Chuck Norris Was a Great Action Star -- but Politics May Overshadow His Legacy
Chuck Norris killed his shadow while he was shadow boxing. That is why he can never be overshadowed.

Same author, can you spot the difference? Keeping in mind one was MUCH more political than the other.

Progressives love to dance on the graves of their enemies.
They have consistently done this after a death of someone that doesn't agree with them. Scott Adams was another recent one.
Yet they will fall over themselves to call a known terrorist an "Austere Scholar".
These people hate you and want you dead. When you die, this is what they will do. It can't get anymore obvious.

was going to say frick Variety and frick William Earl, but it looks like Variety put out a perfectly reasonable obit ( LINK ) and this article is an opinion piece, so on this occasion, frick William Earl.
You know variety can still make decisions on their editorial content in opinion pieces?

While they can, as a rule, I don’t hold opinion pieces against publications, unless it’s an opinion piece from the actual editorial board. But I appreciate people can have different perspectives on that

Chuck rarely discussed politics
Rob's entire persona the last 15 years has been politics.

How miserable of a person do you have to be to write that after someone died
So just to be clear when someone dies, even if you were at odds with that person, you should be the bigger person and let it go?

Since that is where you are trying to cast your line

I was heading in that direction. Let it go, it serves no purpose crapping on someone who is dead.

totally comparable to dancing on Charlie Kirk’s grave by the Left.

Both can be wrong but I don't expect you to understand that. Your side is always right and their side is always wrong in your eyes
