I know that the endless shrimp at red lobster bankrupted them.

No it didn't. All their restaurants are getting dated with no updates, their food is subpar seafood, and inconsistent cooking just like many places struggle with counting on multiple shift cooks.

It's just not that good

I know its Boosie and he isn't one to look to for economic advice, but awhile back he posted about Red Lobster and some other place going Bankrupt and he said the prices are too high, people can't afford to eat at different places as much as they were in the past and its all because the economy isn't being run right. And he said there would probably be more companies going bankrupt. Does this make him a prophet?

Well when you build so many restaurants that the market cannot support all of the chains.

Look back in the early days of US fast food burgers, you had McDonalds, Burger King, and Burger Chef. Burger Chef was so large at the time in the late 1970s, they even had the original Star Wars action figures with their fun meals. Heck even in small communities like South Lafourche, there were 2 Burger Chefs before McDonalds opened in the 1980s.

Wendy's then started in 1969 and started to grow and eventually crowded the market and Burger Chef was the one to throw in the towel, some by the franchisees who jetisoned the Burger Chef name to form their own sinking chains like Mr. Cook, which I can still taste their baked potatoes.

Then you also have the other smaller chains likes Sonic and Rally's/Checkers.

Can someone name one chain restaurant where private equity increased the food quality and dining experience?

Regardless of the industry, PE has rarely, if ever, done anything positive for the consumer or the employees of those businesses. Cut costs and cut employees to make the books look temporarily good, then flip it.

The worst PE offenders are in healthcare. Absolute vultures. People literally die because of PE bullshite.

How many Firehouse franchisees actually own the property they're in? The one here's in a frigging strip mall.

This guy in the video is dopey.

In fairness, they don't owe any fiduciary obligations to the consumer or, for the most part, to employees of portfolio companies.

Tucker did a good piece on how they destroyed an entire town when they bought Cabelas and merged with BPS

Sure and the PE vultures know nothing about building and maintaining a product or business.

The only thing PE vultures know is how to slash and burn and destroy.

PE is objectively horrible for everyone except the very few at the top.

PE should be permanently banned from healthcare. They have blood on their hands and continue to kill people everyday.

If you stan PE you should re-examine yourself and think about killing yourself for being so retarded.

I’m a lifelong resident of the South except for being stationed in Philly while in the Navy. After having the authentic cheese steaks there, Jersey Mike’s are the only ones I have found to be as good.
