There isn’t one. The press conference isn’t for an hour. I don’t even know why people watch them or pay attention to anything he or any Democrat has to say.

Because like it or not the restrictions are real and affect people and their businesses

The PC isn't starting for another hour. Did honor chode say this on the radio or is this speculation?

Just spitballing here, but maybe its because his mandates have real life impacts on people's lives? Maybe that's why they pay attention?

Hell, it might be the foundation of a new generation of speakeasies

Girls dressed like this might be showing up to underground bars pretty soon....

I'd love a place where dressing like that was expected!

ALL restaurants and bars should seriously consider going the speakeasy route.

And they know this which is why I think they will be forced shut down this go around.

Central La is over it. Pretty much wide open everywhere I’ve been

You must not eat out much. Fricking places have every other table closed in most places.

I hope every business and every bar stays open with 100% occupancy that’s the only way to fight back these dumbass restrictions

He didn't say that exactly, but pretty much yes

quote:

The threat of a second spike in cases is serious, and to fight it people should “do the right thing” and “be a good neighbor,” Edwards said. If Louisianans do that and have patience, “we’ll get through this.”

“We need people to simply be a good neighbor. Understand that when you wear a mask, you’re protecting others, and when they wear a mask they’re protecting you,” he said. “People should focus less on what they have a right to do and focus on what is the right thing to do. The right thing to do is to wear masks. The right thing to do is to socially distance. The right thing to do is to wash your hands, and that’s what we’re asking people to focus on, being good neighbors like Louisianans are known to be.”
