It is amazing how many doctors want to lie and make it sound like this is bad. Thank goodness we have the OT to tell us it is not a real problem.

I know my family who is in the medical field have had nurses quit because they are overworked and are now scared of getting it themselves but idk if that is a problem everywhere.

I would be fired if I said I had every resource available to me, but I didn't prepare because an event I knew would happen then happened before I thought it would.

LGMC in Lafayette had over 100 Covid inpatients yesterday. I mentioned in another thread that they cancelled my inpatient surgery that was scheduled for Monday. I was told by my surgeon they will be rolling back on outpatient procedures as well. They are short on nurses due to a lot of staff coming down with Covid as well.
