The two ships available like that are headed to New York and the west coast.

JBE also asked Trump for permission to utilize the VA hospital in New Orleans for patient overflow. Trump said he would get it done.

Or if JBE is just painting the most dire picture to get the most money he can.

Its a time-honored tradition amongst Louisiana politicians.

The only hospitals in the state with huge issues now are NOLA

Most hospitals have 0 cases

Back in 96 when the MS river flooding was threatening Angola, Burl Cain evacuated 2000 inmates just so they could get Federal Disaster money. They moved them out to higher ground for 2 days.

You realize this is going to pop up all over the state right? I know this has had you on tilt, but I can’t tell if you honestly think Nola is the only part of the state that will have people in hospitals.

Then they can start moving non-COVID patients to those other hospitals.

But I think the idea is that isn't going to just stay a NOLA problem.

if the government were being honest with us, we'd know exactly how bad it projects everywhere

instead, they'd hiding behind blanket, statewide statements to protect Nola

Take everything JBE says with a grain of salt.

He may be asking for more money Louisiana doesn't need for the Chinese virus and just wants to use it for his own pet projects like more welfare for special interests and a teacher's raise.
