I've come to the conclusion that people who worry about the mask mandate and get bent all out of shape allows this shite to affect their life.
I've mentioned on here that since I got my second shot in early April, I only recall having to wear a mask a few times. Went I went to the doctor, the Walmart Marketplace on Highland and Lee required people to wear a mask when I went there. I think I went to something that was at church, this was around May or June and mask were required, but other stores, restaurants and other places I have gone didn't require mask.
The weekend before this past weekend I went to top golf on Sunday and there was a sign that said "mask required" and they had mask available, but no one was wearing them. Even the employees, they had them on, but they had them pulled down. I guess it was a way to say that they technically had them on.
But there is no question this board makes a bigger deal out of it than it is.

My 7 yo has been forced to wear a mask all semester for no other reason than to placate an ideology that has no basis in data or fact. He’s no safer with a mask. But he’s forced into this faux fear society where logic and data don’t matter. I want that removed from his life. Masks are not normal. Masks are pointless. Masks remove one of the most essential forms of communication. frick them.

Just because you don’t have kids doesn’t mean you get to speak for everyone
The majority here have kids & it’s not normal for a child to be masked all day long
Kids are having trouble developing speech patterns, properly hearing their teachers through masks & kids are the lowest risk so the “science” doesn’t make any sense

For the millionth time, CHILDREN HAD TO MASK IN ORDER TO ATTEND SCHOOL. CHILDREN ARE NOT AT RISK AT ALL FROM COVID. THE ONE GROUP BY FAR LEAST AT RISK IS REQUIRED TO MASK FOR 8 HOURS A DAY.

it's not LSU pretending to care about covid monday through friday then completely ignoring it on saturday, it's THE BOARD. you can go to tiger stadium and sit with 92,000 people, yell and scream and high five and spray spittle all over everyone around you, tailgate with a hundred thousand others outside, all maskless...but don't you dare show up to class monday without your mask on!!
it's all in the name of protecting people. it's definitely not political. that's why the virus is only transmittable monday to friday in class. we know this from the science.
