and then magically went down by 7k after an audit but somehow the # of positive cases stayed the same.
So they want me to believe they were only double counting some tests but not positive cases. Yeah ok...sure you've earned the benefit of the doubt.

A lot of the talentef people are going to see a majority of the landmass completely okay, all the states around them opening up, and move.

La is going to be the last state on the coast to open up and its going to hurt A LOT.
La always gets what they vote for though. Its as if the majority of people here like to be last and to struggle through life. We elect the most dishonest, inept people we can find and then act surprised when there is a situation that governement is supposed to help, but ours drops the damn ball EVERY SINGLE TIME.
At what point do we wake TFU and start electing competent people?

Wait. Weren’t you the idiot telling me that I was trying to get my in-laws killed by letting my son play with a couple friends on the weekend?
Changed your tune now huh.

Data changes, Baw. I don't go on emotion, I go on the data that we have at hand. Check my posts. For the last week or 2 the data shows this isn't what they originally though it could be, and my posts reflect that.
Didn't you end up getting COVID?

Back in mid March. Which was well before our discussion. And the data hasn’t changed. We’ve had examples of states and countries and isolated systems like the cruise ships for well over a month telling us how much we overreacted.
There’s even a study out of Switzerland now that proves how safe kids are. They’re terrible vectors of this virus and no one under ten has died and they are rarely the ones who spread it.

quote:That’s exactly what you did. The narrative was meant to tug at your feelings. “Stay home. Save lives.” That wasn’t a slogan based on data. It was based on the fact people respond to feelings and being emotionally attached.
I don't go on emotion

Do you have the hospitalization data too by any any chance?
I’ll see if they have it in a little bit.
I’m waiting for them to remove the CSV function so no one else can fact check their claims.

Why though? There is no medical, or infrastructure reason to do this.

Appreciate it, Golfer. Most people assumed this to be true especially those who follow the numbers daily. I’m sure the Monroe data is similar.
Another data point JBE loves to use is the cell phone movement. I’d love to see the details on that. Because it should simply be the connect/disconnect values from the towers. With Baton Rouge being a major bottleneck on east/west travel, as Texas and Florida open, those values are going to skyrocket looking as though BR is doing a terrible job of “staying at home.” It’s probably already happening actually.

Everyone who supported a govt mandated lockdown in any form or fashion is getting what they asked for
We told you this wasn’t based on science, we told you this wasn’t based on data, we told you this wasn’t based on saving lives, but you called us ignorant
fricking dumb pussies the lot of you

New talking point....virus load.
We need the least amount of people possible infected to keep the virus load down.

The only hospital data available to download that I can see is the bed availability by region. And it doesn't have daily totals, just the current total. So pulling historical data would be tough.

There is no medical, or infrastructure reason to do this.
And, in the grand scheme, we will make this exponentially worse if we push it into the fall.

Except you WANT the virus to spread like it did in NOLA so you can get a nice little pat on the back as though you’re following orders when in reality, you just let the virus run it’s course.
